We now have a new opportunity for a Broker Desk Consultant role based in Bracknell with a specialist mortgage lender and servicer. Our client is offering up to GBP23,000 as a basic salary, onsite parking, a comprehensive benefits package and a superb working environment. The role will hold responsibility for being a conduit between distribution, sales and the new business processing team to ensure optimum service standards are efficiently delivered.
Responsibilities for the role of Broker Desk Consultant
- Establish an excellent working relationship with Regional Account Managers and new business team
- Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of product offering and lending policy
- Take ownership of inbound calls and always seek to find solutions to broker queries
- To proactively chase outstanding documentation and applications, effectively communicate product proposition and manage communications of new products, product withdrawals, services and other key information to our distribution.
- Develop a complete understanding of the broker portal, provide training to broker staff and provide 1st line support
- Plan and organise own workload to ensure personal and team objectives and deadlines are met
- Liaise with new business processing, challenging underwriting decisions where appropriate
- Contribute towards functional strategy development, planning and implementation process
- Feedback key market intelligence and recommend areas for improvement
Experience required for the role of Broker Desk Consultant
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills are essential
- Previous/existing knowledge within the Buy to Let and Residential Mortgage industry is essential
- Experience of working within Financial Services environment is essential
- Telesales experience is desirable
Salary: Up to GBP23,000 plus benefits
