Bishop's Stortford College is a thriving, independent day and boarding school for over 1100 pupils aged 4-18, comprising a pre-prep, prep and senior school.

The College has a long established reputation for academic and sporting excellence, as well as extra-curricular breadth and diversity. The College turns over circa £20m a year and employs over 320 staff, making it one of the biggest employers in the area.

It also enjoys a wonderful location, situated on the edge of a prosperous market town, within an hour of London, in a beautiful 130 acre site.
This is a key appointment for the College, and the Governing Council seeks to appoint someone of high calibre.

The successful candidate will be a member of the College's executive leadership team, and will work closely with the heads of the three schools to ensure the College continues to develop and thrive in an increasingly competitive market.

Candidates will have significant leadership and management experience, commercial acumen, and a strong interest in the development of children and young people.

As the most senior non-teaching member of staff, this is a real opportunity to make a significant contribution to the College's future by providing strong leadership in the non-education related areas of the College.
