Regional HR Business Partner
eSift are currently looking for an ambitious and experienced Regional HR Business Partner, to work for our client, one of the UK's largest women's value retailers who focus on selling affordable, stylish, premium quality clothing and accessories in a wide range of sizes via their own store portfolio, website, mail order catalogues and through the Ideal World TV shopping channel.
Location: Field Based - South West & South East
Salary: GBP35,000 to GBP40,000 per annum dependant on experience
6 Month Temporary Fixed Term Contract
The HR Business Partner is an operational role with a strong focus on developing people capability. The role will partner specific management teams to execute the people plan and support implementation of the business strategy.
Key responsibilities:
- Supports c1000 colleagues with the key stakeholder being Regional Managers
- Developing strong working relationships with managers: influence, coach and challenge in order to deliver strategic goals and effectively implement KR policies, procedures and best practices
- Maintain an accurate understanding of the key people priorities within your area
- Implement improve people management practices
- Provide support on generalist activity such as resourcing
- Translate the business initiatives and KR strategy into structured HR plans
- Work with other functional specialists to ensure consistent implementation of HE policies, procedures and projects across all areas
- Delivery of training across your areas to improve people capability and improve the customer experience
- Responsible for delivery engagement survey and action plans across relevant areas
- Contribute to, and utilise, employee data and trend analysis to lead, educate and work in partnership with line managers on people issues, e.g absence management, attrition
- Identify priority trends and advise management in high level/complexed employee issues
- Provide HR support to management on options and solutions
- Provide leadership and support to management in high level/complex employee issues associate employee relations matters
- Focus on improving people capability through structured initiatives
- Support succession planning activity
- Take the lead on HR projects as defined by the Senior HR Business Partner, and contribute to all projects using the knowledge of the people priorities in your area
- Implementation of change programmes
- Deliver exceptional customer service to the Regional team, store management teams, sales associates and operations team
To be successful in this position you will have/be;
- CIPD Qualified
- Proven Business Partnering experience, ideally within a retail environment
- Capable of managing a varied workload
- Demonstrable commercial acumen and solutions focus
- Experience of coaching at a Management level
- Problem solving and analytical capability, with the ability to produce and interpret numerical data in consideration of business priorities
- Confident decision maker who is able to work independently
- Able to influence
- Effectively and build constructive working relationships across the company
- Willing to travel extensively across designated regions, and nationally
- Experience of succession planning and talent management
- Confident in delivering training
