Improbable's mission is to make new realities possible. Their first product is SpatialOS; a distributed operating system capable of producing consequential, persistent simulations at unprecedented scale. SpatialOS is being deployed in progressive game studios and the most critical government institutions across the world.
In this role, your team will be helping studios to understand and leverage SpatialOS and discover new ways to build games and online experiences.
Improbable has partnered with Step Forward to deliver high quality, work-relevant training. Throughout the year, you will be supported through your Advanced Apprenticeship by an expert tutor and dedicated personal mentor.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Build, implement and document working QA practise
Test, report and track new issues
Test new feature branches
Clearly and effectively communicate blockers
Be customer focused at all times
Learn and become proficient in modern bug-tracking tools
Become competent with source control, command lines and utility scripts
Desired skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Passionate about technology
Strong organisational skills
Positive attitude with determination and proactivity
A fast learner
Willingness to roll up your sleeves and help out your team
You're eligible for this role if you:
Are 18 - 20 years old when the programme starts
Are eligible to live and work in the UK and have lived in the UK or EU for at least 3 years
Have achieved Maths and English A* - C or equivalent
