This upmarket major housebuilder that focus on high quality, well designed homes are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team of highly experienced surveyors. This housebuilder is an award-winning outfit that are regularly recognised in providing high standards of design, build and quality of services from their customer base.

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be working on some of the region's most beautiful single bespoke and multiple unit developments whilst mentoring and managing more junior surveyors.

This is a perfect opportunity for a Senior Surveyor, who's past experience lies within a house builder or developer, to join this exquisite organisation.

Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Duties:

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be reporting directly to the Surveying Director and your duties are:

- Producing accurate and realistic estimates, budgets, forecasts and cost control measures
- Build and maintain working relationships with supply chain and clients
- Monitor site performance against original plans, budgets and financial targets
- Place supply chain orders in accordance with the procurement schedule
- Manage and minimise non recoverable costs on projects
- Price and agree all project variations
- Provide commercial expertise and be responsible for the financial delivery on various projects
- Value, certify and issue subcontractors
- Complete CVC reports

Essential:

- Experience working in a similar role with another house builder
- Multiple project experience
- Minimum 6 Years' experience
- HNC minimum
- Membership or working towards MCIOB or RICS
- Track record of successful procurement
- Working knowledge of programming software
- Extensive knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Project
- Valid Driving Licence

Salary: GBP60,000-GBP75,000
