The Company
Our Client is a FTSE 250 business and one of the UK's leading housebuilding, regeneration and housebuilding groups with revenues of GBP2.7 billion. Our client is founded on its values, passion, integrity and has been providing customer focused Facilities and Property Management services for over 15 years. They provide Total FM, Hard FM and Lifecycle services to both Public and Private sector clients nationally.
Ideal Candidate
Our client is looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer with an extensive electrical skillset. For this multi-disciplinary role, air conditioning/HVAC experience would be a huge advantage, you will ideally be apprentice trained and will have worked up through the tools, your qualifications will be City and Guilds based at a level three standard (Or Equivalent) with 17th Edition wiring regulations a must. Further knowledge in a working background supporting either Joinery, plumbing and heating is preferred. It is a supervisor role so therefore imperative that you have excellent communication skills supported by a wealth of knowledge to give your team the advice and support they require. If you do not have supervisor experience, but have the drive and ambition, as well as a strong engineering background, I want to hear from you!
About the job
This role is covering a Total Facilities Manager contract in Northern Scotland, from Inverness to Aberdeen. You will be covering a variety of buildings including healthcare, education and commercial buildings. On a day-to-day basis, your work will involve electrical planned/reactive/additional works in buildings, including minor works, repairs, fault finding and fault diagnosis. As well as statutory checks, including ensuring compliance with up to date building regulations including IEE 17th edition, and ensuring that all the contracts SLA's are being adhered to. Acting as a supervisor, you will be hands on two thirds of the time and acting as supervisor supporting your team the remaining time. Is this for you? If so, I want to hear from you!
