My client is looking for a Technical sales engineer who is able to use their technical knowledge along with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of manufactured products, for which a certain level of expertise is needed.
The role will primarily involve dealing with customer enquires by phone, email, inputting orders, technical assistance for customers, some marketing and new business development and negotiation.
Skills required are:
- a solid technical background
- sales skills
- organisational skills
- teamworking capability and the ability to build relationships quickly and effectively
- Foreign language skills may be an advantage over other applicants
- A mechanical engineering background would be useful
Hours of work are Monday - Thursday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm and Friday 9.00 am to 4.00 pm, or as required
