The Group's companies manufacture quality products for use in human and animal foodstuffs, agriculture, aquaculture, and industrial applications. The company has a UK annual turnover approaching £280 million and employs around 1,000 people at 23 sites across the country.
The Position
Applications are invited for a temporary Ash Conditions Operative at their Widnes Site. This is a full time position, working 40 hours per week, which is likely to last 3 months (on completion, there will be review to go permanent).
As an Ash Conditions Operative your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company's requirements but will include:
- Operation of the Ash loading system.
- Stock control of onsite Silo's/Stores.
- Conditioning of Ash (water addition).
- Loading of Ash Trailers for transfers on and off site.
- Transfers of onsite Ash.
- Supervision of tipping and loading of trailers.
- Quality control of product.
- Sampling and data logging.
The Person
- Continuous Process Control experience/plant experience.
- Industry knowledge.
- Previous experience of process control and trouble shooting.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Able to present information effectively and efficiently.
- Able to work to tight deadlines and able to work well under pressure.
- Able to prioritise workload and deal with conflicting demands.
- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
