Project Accountant; based in Blackburn; 12 months duration; GBP27.00 ltd ph
We ae looking to recruit a project accountant to work on a specific contract based at our client's site on the outskirts of Blackburn
There are some long-standing issues across the contract that require resolving prior to deployment of phase 1 of the contract. Due to the complexity of these tasks this cannot be carried out on top of the normal day job by the project accountants.
Responsibilities
Spares and Repairs Orderbook - 10 years' worth of transactions need to be reconciled.
GRNI - To look at historical transactions and work through with Procurement and supply chain to resolve.
Project stock - The contract is nearly complete, however GBPm's of stock remains, this needs to be justified and resolved.
Negative Commitment - Historical negative outstanding commitment to be investigated and resolved.
Orderbook - Reconcile post change order 3.
Getting fit for the project to establish smooth Transaction.
Jaguar - Reconcile the SSR and balance. Scope issues to resolve.
Skill and Experience:
The successful applicant must have previous project accounting experience and must have a good source system knowledge (SAPM Baan, IFS, TMO1)
Must be able to work on their own initiative and be confident to go out to the wider team for support. Predominately working on a contract resolving Spare and Repairs Order book reconciliation, GRNI, Stock Reconciliations and data cleanse .
