Infrastructure Specialist/Team Lead
We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Specialist who will support services for a large organisation as well as leading the development and maintenance of robust, reliable, scalable on premise and cloud based infrastructure.
Key Duties
-Lead a multi-disciplined team of IT specialists
-Monitoring alerts and ensuring minimum downtime
-Manage, Maintain, and develop the infrastructure, including; telephony, network and server infrastructure
-Support the integration of MS Office365 and Azure platforms
-Report on Performance and utilisation
-Create operational thresholds and operational budgets
-Maintain security levels for the Office365

-To contribute to the continuous improvement of internal IT processes and assist in the communication of such processes to the business.
-To assist service desk colleagues on training of 1st line activities for new services
-To provide assistance within the service desk for occasional events
-To provide excellent customer service to all service users
Skills & Experience
-Good general knowledge of IT infrastructure
-Specialist knowledge of SAN services
-Previous experience of working on a large Active Directory migration and any exposure to cloud based solutions/migrations
-Good working knowledge of networking infrastructure (Switches, Routers, WiFi, VPN and Firewalls etc) - min 1 year experience
-Good working knowledge of Windows Servers - min 4 years' experience
-Understanding and demonstrable experience of designing an infrastructure enterprise, with a holistic view to the companies enterprise design
-Working knowledge of IT Service Management principles
Qualifications preferred
-ITIL qualified
-DNS administration
-Solid Scripting skills (Shell Scripts, VMWare)
-UNIX/Linu
-Microsoft MCSA/MCSP
-Active Directory Services with Windows Server
-VMware
