Service Technician & MOT Tester
Are you an experienced qualified MOT Tester/Service Technician?
Because we want to recruit a Fully Skilled Technician with diagnostic experience and/or an MOT Tester's licence to work in our client's very busy Service Department south of Preston. Specific dealership experience is not absolutely necessary as Manufacturer Training will be provided.
Reporting directly to the Service Manager you will have a flexible approach to tasks and be able to manage your own workload as well as being an excellent communicator with proven experience of working in a busy car dealership or similar automotive environment.
A main focus of the role will be to MOT test light vehicles as set out by DVSA in a safe and efficient manner. The successful candidate will be part of a small team, but should be equally happy working on their own and should take a great degree of pride in carrying out tasks to an extremely high standard.
Main Job Responsibilities:
1. To carry out MOT tests to DVSA standard and input the details on the DVSA computer system
2. To fit any product specified by the Company to customer vehicles and carry out a range of ancillary services to customer vehicles
