We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Repairs Supervisor to join our team based at Southwark.

Joining us as a Repairs Supervisor, you will supervise and manage the operation of a Housing Improvement works programme on a daily basis with the responsibility for a team of Operatives and Sub Contractors.

Within the role, you will control work whilst mentoring Operatives and Trainees. Monitoring the progress and completion of works from the Operatives and Sub Contractors, you will manage their use to ensure they comply with both Client and Company standards of work performance, customer service and procedures. Acting as a leader and focal point, you will ensure detail sign off of completed properties whilst coordinating the allocation of work. Candidates for this position will effectively organise and direct Operatives and Sub Contractors on the job to guarantee continuity and improve productivity at all times. The Repairs Supervisor will act as a liaison point on site for Branch Management and Client Clerk of Works alongside ensuring the protection of our resident’s properties.

With experience of working in a Social Housing environment, you will have knowledge of Housing improvements, measured term contracts and schedule of rates. The successful Repairs Supervisor will hold a Trade & City Guilds qualification coupled with experience of supervising Operatives and Sub Contractors. Candidates for this role will hold knowledge of the NHF 6.1 with the ability to code, ideally you will have experience of working in partnership with a Local Authority Client coupled with management experience in a similar environment. The Repairs Supervisor will hold an H&S qualification coupled with excellent negotiating skills, you will have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as within a team.
