An opportunity has arisen to work for a leading equipment supplier in the Food and Beverage industry, to join one of the best in the world in providing top class customer service to their loyal clients. They are currently looking for a number of Field Service Engineers, with a strong technical background and fantastic customer service skills to travel to a range of customer sites throughout the area and wider country.

The engineers in the field service team act as an ambassador of the brand, helping to maintain the level of service and company's reputation worldwide.

Main Responsibilities include:

+ Be responsible for installation, commissioning and automation of new packaging equipment

+ Carry out hands on preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure maximum and ongoing system performance

+ Troubleshooting and Fault finding activities

+ Be responsible for production supervision and customer training of bespoke equipment

+ Ensure a positive working relationship with the customer.

Requirements:

+ Previous Field Service Experience (ideally in the food processing, packaging or diary industry - not a must).

+ Truly multi skilled - with experience in electrical and mechanical engineering.

+ Proven technical background including experience in PLC systems - Rockwell PLC is an advantage.

+ Strong service skills and comfortable in speaking to customers

+ Strong problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure

+ Valid Driving Licence and willingness to travel extensively.

The ideal location would be a candidate that is commutable to the Northamptonshire area.
