An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer & Community Office to join our dynamic team based in Waverley. Managing the delivery of Customer & Community Services you will put the customer at the heart of everything we do; ensuring we meet the needs of the business, our clients and their customers.

Within the role, you will successfully delivery customer performance in line with agree KPI’s whilst effectively delivering against the Group Customer Contact & Escalation processes. The successful Customer & Community Officer will embed the Mears Customer Service Standard alongside implementing a customer focused culture through the Mears Red Thread. Candidates for this position will successfully deliver against the Groups framework for community engagement coupled with leading customer experience training to all staff, operatives, and subcontractors ensuring all new starters receive a customer & community induction. Developing and maintaining strong links with the client, local community and related associations, governing bodies/ third parties, you will make certain our Customer & Community team always perform to the highest standard.

With a strong customer ethos and heightened sense of empathy, you will be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative. The successful Customer & Community Officer will be able develop others coupled with excellent time management/planning skills. With a good attention detail, you will hold strong analytical skills alongside experience of managing complex situations. The successful Customer & Community Officer will hold experience of building effective relationships at all levels with previous experience of partnership working. Candidates for this position will hold previous experience of handling multiple tasks in a high volume and rapidly changing environment. A proficient user of IT, you will have the passion and drive to succeed.
