A quirky growing FMCG company is looking for a driven, dynamic and personable Demand Planner for their thriving business based in West London. The purpose of this role is to manage the forecasting and demand planning process across internal European customers. This role takes an instrumental lead within S&OP, project management and a systems upgrade

Key Responsibilities:

* Ownership of EU demand planning from a process and continuous improvement perspective
* Develop the 3 year vision and targets for demand planning/forecasting
* Identify process levers to improve efficiency and effectiveness of process
* Manage the demand planning deliverables to ensure integrity and comprehensiveness of the demand plan. Accountable for ongoing improvement in forecast accuracy (through target setting, process improvements and systems)
* Collaborate through the monthly S&OP process to ensure capacity and supply plans meet demand in a responsive, flexible and cost effective way
* Accountability for detailed demand forecast and analysis -
* Coordinate and input forecast updates from Sales and Marketing
* Analyze forecast for key customers and SKU/product category levels
* Provide forecast trend analysis for products, accounts, and channels
* Support new product and account launches and distribution expansions
* Provide forecast changes to supply planning in between system updates
* Manage down SLOBS risk across Europe to drive timely action to balance sales opportunities with product shelf life.

Key Skills:

* Graduate calibre
* A strong understanding of Retail or FMCG supply chain with at least 3 years+ FMCG demand planning experience
* SAP is highly desirable
* Highly computer literate - advanced excel
* Customer focused - experience of working collaboratively with key retail customers
* Excellent communication and influencing to develop strong relationships internally and externally
* Able to prioritise and allocate time effectively
* Diligent in completion of tasks and projects
* Competent in use of customer sales systems such as Retail Link / Tesco Connect and forecasting systems
* Strong team player
* Highly organised and motivated
