As a junior user researcher, you will play a key role in the delivery of digital health services that offer the public clear, practical and accessible advice to support self-care and in navigating the health and care system.

You will be embedded in a multidisciplinary agile product team. Working alongside other user researchers you will design, manage and execute user research (qualitative, quantitative, collaborative, online and usability research) with both the public and relevant professionals.

You will have an understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and experience of planning, doing, analysing and communicating about research.

Essential experience:

A range of research approaches including both quantitative and qualitative with a design research / user experience focus
Full lifecycle from planning research, recruiting, conducting research, analysing and communicating
Research with diverse populations, including vulnerable people

Desirable:

Degree in HCI/Usability/Cognitive Psychology/Market Research or related
Knowledge of user research activities and methodologies
In addition, you will be a self starter with a genuine interest in user research as a career, whilst being creative and proactive to challenge the status quo, with an ability to engage with and influence others.
