IT Supplier Manager (Manager, IT)

Salary: Highly Competitive
Location: Luton, UK

Reporting to the Head of IT Office the IT Supplier Manager will manage and control supplier contracts, performance and interactions, covering the complete commercial lifecycle of the supplier relationship to a consistent and effective Governance regime.

What you will be doing as a IT Supplier Manager (Manager, IT):
Commercial Management
• Take Accountability for the relationship and commercial management of allocated IT suppliers ensuring that the services delivered meet the business requirements.
• Manage the commercial relationship with the suppliers including billing, savings and change. Manage enforcement of contractual penalties and deliver costs savings, cost avoidance and improved terms and conditions. Oversee work requests to ensure cost effective, efficient and timely provision of changes. Ensure value for money services are delivered.

Supplier Management
• Manage the suppliers to the agreed Governance framework, including scheduling the meetings, briefing executives and management, documenting actions and following up to ensure delivery of commitments.
• Ensure delivery of the appropriate reporting (against SLA's, BBS, OLA's as appropriate) to support the Governance framework, constantly review reporting to ensure relevance and follow up actions identified through reporting.
• Risk management of suppliers - identify and highlight appropriate issues that could put the supplier or the service at risk. Report and escalate when appropriate.
• Manage and execute stakeholder engagement plans - including renewal road map reviews. Drive improvements in supplier performance by working across the business to promote and implement appropriate commercial strategies, including rationalisation and consolidation programmes.
• Manage communication with, across and between the suppliers, integrating suppliers with each other, with other elements of IT and with the Business, where appropriate.

Sourcing Strategy
• Manage the lifecycle of the supplier contracts including, identifying the needs, considering options, selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, benchmarking, renewing contracts, and terminating contracts. Interface with the business units and other TUI departments (Procurement, Legal, etc.) as appropriate. Maintain database of contract information, provide analysis and comment on relevant contracts.

Leadership
• As part of the IT Commercial leadership team, contribute to the development of the IT Commercial team and capabilities.
• Line and/or matrix management of IT Commercial Analysts as appropriate.

Budget:
• Manage the Opex budget for allocated category of suppliers of up to GBP30m pa.

What we are looking for
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers, strong team player
• Possess strong business and commercial awareness and drive together with the ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
• Extensive experience of IT contract negotiations including hardware/software maintenance, software licensing, professional services and managed services on contracts of up to GBP10m pa. Ability to adopt various negotiation styles and techniques to deliver effective contracts.
• Experience of Outsourcing and Off-Shoring Enterprise wide services and the models, tools and techniques used to affect efficient delivery.
• Meticulous attention to detail and rigorous retention of auditable documents/records.
• Excellent analytical skills and a working knowledge of accounting principles, practices and terminology, together with Financial modelling and planning skills
• Awareness of targets and constraints, with the ability to work to these.
• Drive, resilience and energy and the ability to adapt quickly to changes in priority.
