Recruitment is a B2B sales role and is one of the few industries where you truly get out what you are prepared to put in. You are in control of your own pay cheque and with uncapped commission, your earnings are unlimited. We are a purely organically grown business and with progression also measured on performance, there are no restraints as to how quickly you can move up in the business. Stepping up to mentor and manage, is achievable within 18 months if you set your sights high.

What is unique about SmithCorp is that we "only" recruit trainees. We have never, and will never recruit a manager from elsewhere to come in and be your new boss. SmithCorp was established by three brothers in 2004, since then, everyone in the business including our most senior managers and directors have all joined as trainees. Each one has had years of training and development invested in them, not only to training to be the best recruitment consultant, but to be guided into leadership. Our training is second to none and is proven. We have built the business purely by recruiting trainees leading to an impressive growth to 4 office locations and 6 brands.
Previous experience is not so important to us, more so your motivations, where you are going and your qualities and attributes. To succeed you will need to be a self motivated, a great relationship builder, organised, driven, passionate, resilient and hardworking (this is by no means a 9 - 5 job). These attributes, combined with our support, mentoring and emphasis on training and development, should see you succeed in our business. You will need to show evidence of an excellent work ethic and a commitment to either within your studies, sporting achievements or work.
We are interested in graduate calibre candidates, this does not necessarily mean you need to have a degree, but you will need to have good GCSE or A-Level grades at C and above.
