Laboratory Technician
Honeyman Group Ltd, a progressive company and market leader in providing first class contract analytical solutions to the pharmaceutical industry is currently seeking a number of ambitious and enthusiastic individuals to join the team.
We are looking for motivated individuals with an interest and desire to begin a career in pharmaceutical science. Laboratory Technicians will normally work between the different laboratories on site, earning valuable experience in both Chemistry and Microbiology backgrounds.
Ideal candidates will have a minimum C grade at GCSE or equivalent in English, Maths and a Science subject. Full training will be provided.
Laboratory Technician - Key duties include:
- To assist and support the Laboratory Analysts in their work.
- To prepare reagents and test materials
- To carry out basic testing techniques
- To maintain a clean laboratory area
- To log and record incoming samples
- To ensure that GMP is adhered to
We currently have a number of different vacancies (Lab Technician/Chemistry Analyst/Senior Chemistry Analyst/Chemistry Laboratory Manager) available within the Chemistry department as we continue to expand our Chemistry testing services from Barnard Castle.
This is a full time permanent position based within our Laboratories in Barnard Castle. Starting salary is based upon the national living wage
