A multi-national, industry leading medical devices manufacturer, are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their highly specialised and ever growing team, offering up to 10% annual bonus, free share incentive plan and healthcare. A market leader developing drug inhalation devices, working with the world's leading pharmaceutical brands.
The Role
As a Design Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Continuous improvement and innovation of devices.
- Design of complete systems including test assemblies and mechanisms.
- Cost effective solutions.
- Validation via reviews, stress analysis, assembly tolerances and testing.
- Lead Mechanical development activities.
To be successful within the role you will have:
- Proven experience in medical device design or another highly regulated market.
- CAD such as (Pro/engineer, wildfire, Creo, solidworks, solid-works).
- FEA, CFD, tolerance and stress analysis.
- Experience developing for plastic injection moulding.
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering (2:1 minimum)
