Solvency II Technical Accountant

Solvency II Technical Accountant Permanent Southampton Competitive Salary + Pension, Bonus Scheme and Benefits We are looking for a Solvency II Technical Accountant to join our Finance Team, based in Southampton. You will work closely with WM Consolidation & Technical Oversight, Head of Reporting, capital reporting team on any Solvency II Old Mutual Wealth level reporting. Key Responsibilities: Accounting lead for OMW solvency II reporting, including the submission of Quarterly and Annual QRT's, preparation of board reporting and narrative reporting requirements. Accountable / involvement with for the delivery of Solvency II reporting projects (on an ad hoc basis) or project improvement or delivery of new group reporting requirements. Support for consolidation of financial results for Wealth Management, as required. Accountable for the timetabling, instruction and planning for solvency II reporting for OMW and co-ordination with the business units. Qualifications Required Accounting (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Experience Required Essential Good working Knowledge of MS Office Working Knoweldge of finance systems Financial Repoprting Experience Solvent II reoprting experience Desirable Working knowledge of CDM or ODS/RDS Financial Services Experience Previous Experience of HFM or Essbase Salary & Benefits: At Old Mutual Wealth we offer an innovative and flexible reward package.
