Business Development Executive trainee level

We have an excellent opportunity for a trainee Business Development Executive to join a rapidly expanding business in the local area to Woking. You will be eager to learn and develop skills in a sales and business development role, generating new leads to call new clients, forming strong working relationships. You will possess excellent customer service experience with a confident telephone manner and be actively looking for a salesorientated role. Our client offers 25 days holiday, pension, healthcare and discounts with an OTE up to GBP22/23k. Key Responsibilities:Actively generate and source new leads to pursue as new business opportunities Record conversations and keep client data records relevant, accurate and up to date Ensure progress with these accounts and resulting sales volumes and profit margins is clearly communicated to the Sales Manager on a daily basis and in weekly meetings Deliver and exceed coverage sales targets and personally deliver exceptional customer serviceRepresent the company at trade events as and when requiredAdvise and feedback competitor activity to share ideas and create new strategies to win business We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:Previous experience in an office based sales environment is highly desirable Successful track record in product promotion, either in a retail environment or relevant campaign workConfident telephone mannerStrong ability to learn new skills quicklyConfident to ask questions and constantly strive to improve performanceResilient and able to interpret critisism as constructive feedbackAbility to work as part of a team and using initiativeGood administrative and organisational skillsMinimum 5 GCSE grades ACAbility to communicate across multiple countries and culturesPlease note your CV will be reviewed against the job criteria and for any other opportunities which may also be relevant to your skills or experience.
