Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working in exclusive partnership with a well established SME business in Sheffield with a turnover of approx. GBP10 Million. The role will report directly into the Financial Controller and will be responsible for managing 2 accounts staff on site.
As well as overseeing the transactional finance operations for the business, you will also be responsible for the timely production of Management Accounts and any related analysis to the senior management team.
Duties & Responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
- Managing 2 members of staff in the accounts team
- Overseeing both the sales and purchase ledgers
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Conducting variance analysis
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Fixed asset maintenance, accruals, prepayments, journals
- Ad-hoc reporting for the directors
- Continual review of processes and systems
To be considered for this role you MUST have the following:
- Qualified CIMA/ ACCA or ACA although my client will also consider QBE
- At least 3-5 years experience in a similar role where you have been responsible for all aspects of finance up to full production of Management Accounts.
- Good leadership skills
- Strong I.T skills
