TITLE: Engineer /Merchandiser - South

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a carrier minded, dynamic individual to join our team. As owners and operators of automated key-cutting machines, which are installed at a wide range of retail outlets nationally, we're looking for the right person to join our existing service team, building successful relationships with our customers and in-turn driving up weekly sales at sites allocated to them.

My Key Machine is an automated key cutting machine, which utilises the latest in key cutting technology. Due to our expanding number of machines nationally, we are looking to appoint an additional service engineer/merchandiser in the South of the country, ideally located within a 20-mile radius of High Wycombe.

The primary function of an engineer/merchandiser is to ensure that they work to all service schedules and procedures, ensuring the reliable and safe operation of all machines visited.

This work will involve extensive travel across the South of the UK, with some nights working away from home, as such candidates should be both aware and comfortable with this prior to applying.

Key tasks:

• To be responsible for the operation and cleanliness of all equipment sited within a set route.

• To service all equipment as laid down in company servicing procedures

• To merchandise machines with new stock, ensuring sufficient stock is available until the next scheduled visit

• To be responsible and manage stock both on-site and in vehicles

• To liaise with site owners or their appointed staff when attending a routine visit or fault call

• To be responsible for both product quality and machine reliability

• To deal with breakdowns on arrival and those as directed by their Manager

• To regularly complete and submit all routine paperwork as required

• To wear company uniform and be presentable at all times

• To undertake any training as deemed necessary by the company

Essential requirements:

• Good communication skills as you will be required to develop successful relationships with colleagues and customers

• Self-starter who is able to work on their own without supervision
• A good mechanical aptitude, with an engineering or service background being a distinct advantage
• Strong team player
• IT competent
• Full clean UK Driving license
• Excellent work ethic
• Hands on capability
• Proven adaptability

Qualifications:

Field service experience is essential when applying for this role, with additional technical qualifications a distinct advantage, but not essential.

On the job training will be given to the successful candidate.

Remuneration:
A basic salary of 24k per annum will be paid for this role. A company vehicle and phone will be provided for company use.
