Compass Resourcing are recruiting for a significant Engineering client who are involved in the manufacture and supply to the aerospace industry.
Part of an international group, the company boasts significant resources and offers excellent facilities and working environment at their East Lancashire manufacturing facility. They are committed to staff development and offer genuine training, development and career advancement opportunities.
The manufacturing facility has a wide array of machines including robots, pneumatics, hydraulics, automation and CNC machines amongst others.
They are now able to offer this outstanding position for a mechanically biased maintenance engineer to join their expanding team.
Requirements:
Crucial to this role is that you must have experience of servicing CNC machines. You will be comfortable reading schematic drawings in the fault finding process and have a solid, practical understanding of PLC inputs and outputs.
Experience of working on the maintenance and repair of pneumatics and hydraulics.
Solid and extensive experience working in manufacturing / engineering environments in a maintenance role, either as a maintenance engineer or maintenance technician.
Minimum of HNC/HND in an Engineering discipline, preferable mechanical.
Mechanical bias to your experience this role is roughly 80/20
