Assistant CI Continuous Improvement Manager, Manchester

The Role:

Understanding and Analysing data from production and developing, implementing and leading improvement projects throughout the factory.

Responsibilities Include:

• To develop, maintain and analyse reported production outputs, highlighting key areas for improvement
• To Identify issues and opportunities within the factory for improvement
• Apply and facilitate the use of CI techniques to drive improvements in areas such as:
  • Waste Reduction
  • OEE Increases
  • Cost Reduction and/or value creation
  • Yield Increase
• To create, develop and implement projects in-line with business goals

To train and coach individuals on CI techniques and LEAN tools for use within the factory

The Ideal Candidate:

• Comfortable in creating, developing, and implementing projects
• Ability to lead teams through projects and deliver training and coaching as required
• Enjoys structure and logical thinking
• Enjoys Problem Solving
• Experience working with LEAN tools and techniques
• IT literate, particularly with Excel
• Ability to lead by example and lead a team to achieve company objectives

Salary: £25,000-£30,000
