Accountant - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. A very well-established, family run accountancy practice is looking for an accomplished Senior Accountant to join its growing team. This role would be suited to an ambitious and well established accountant who is meticulous in every walk of life.
In order to be suitable for this role you MUST have previous experience of working for an accountancy practice and have demonstrable skills in preparing statutory company accounts as well as corporation tax returns. The ideal candidate for this role will be a personable accountant who is confident working on their own initiative.
While ACCA or CIMA qualifications would be highly advantageous, applications are also welcome from QBE Accountants and Finalists too. You will be assisting in preparing statutory company accounts for sole traders, partnerships and medium sized businesses and will also help with the personal tax returns of high net worth individuals. Not surprisingly, your attention to detail and accuracy will be first class and you will be comfortable communicating with clients, often at a senior level. As previously mentioned, it is ESSENTIAL you have experience working for an accountancy practice and you should also have the confidence and ability to provide support and guidance to junior colleagues.
