Our client an international bank based in London are urgently seeking a Settlements Officer to join their payments team in Northwich on a permanent basis.
They are looking for an active team working with previous experience within a Back office/Administration office.
Responsibilities of the Settlements Officer will include:
Handling all customer enquiries in a timely manner.
Processing customer transactions.
Processing and authorising payments on a daily basis.
Maintain and updating the database.
Providing back-office support on the banking operations team.
Successful Settlements Officer will have:
Previous experience within a Back office/administration office.
Solid understanding of Swift Messaging - MT103/MT202 would be beneficial.
Previous payment experience would be beneficial.
Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
Strong attention to detail.
