Health and Safety Officer

With this interesting and challenging role, your responsibilities will include;

• Supporting the development and implementation of Health, Safety and Environmental policies
• Ensuring compliance with systems, procedures and legislation
• Identifying and delivering HSE training to a broad spectrum of employees
• Continuous improvement of all HSE systems and processes
• Auditing, risk assessments, corrective actions and investigations

Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport at all levels is essential as you will be key in driving behavioural changes and leading Health, Safety and Environment activities across the site. Confident at delivering presentations, you will be ideally experienced within manufacturing or engineering and understand the challenges of ensuring safe working practices within these environments.

Possessing relevant Health, Safety or Environmental qualifications/experience (eg NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent), this is a great opportunity to join an interesting and successful company with great benefits.

You may have worked as a H&S Trainer, Health & Safety Advisor, Health & Safety Officer, Health & Safety Co-ordinator, Systems Co-ordinator, HSE Officer, SHE Officer, Environmental Officer, Health & Safety Assistant, HSE Assistant, Environmental Advisor or similar previously.

This role is easily commutable from Cambridge, Huntingdon, Newmarket, Thetford, Ely, Mildenhall, March, Chatteris, Wisbech, Kings Lynn and many more places within Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk
