McGinley Support Services operate as an employment business and currently seek to recruit experienced Project Engineer Officer for a Contract based in Bristol
The successful candidate will be the key intermediary between the clients projects and the wider local community. He/she will be responsible for the implementation of project specific community strategies that will enhance and build relationships with the wider community whilst supporting business and project goals.
We are looking for a multi-skilled, committed and motivated professional to run our community engagement programme.
*Enhance the client's Construction reputation by increasing awareness and understanding of its works among key community stakeholders.
*Identify and implement a strategy for community events that builds relationship with the wider community whilst supporting our business goals - ultimately increasing brand awareness.
*Identify appropriate key messages and plan deliver events/presentations that target these messages at the right audiences. Ensure that events are marketed through by means of web content, social media and email marketing.
*Cultivate strong working relationships with local authorities, media and other stakeholders to deliver messages confidently, regularly and accurately.
*Develop and deliver initiatives to find entry level roles for long term unemployed in the local community.
*Develop and deliver local training initiatives in conjunction with community stakeholders.
*Attend careers fairs and employment days at schools and colleges to promote the Company and the Construction Sector.
*Organise national award schemes related to the Company's community community engagement programme?
*Ensure ongoing compliance with Considerate Constructors Scheme.
The successful candidate will be expected to travel as part of their role to construction sites, Company fixed locations or other locations as requested by Management.
Requirements
*Good standard of education. (GCSE Maths, English)
*Full Driving License
Desirable
*Educated to degree level or equivalent.
*Professional Qualification such as CIOB, RICS or APM
Experience
*Event Management experience within a customer-facing environment
*Knowledge, interest or experience of the construction industry or a proven track record within a similar complex and challenging sector.
*Proven track record of devising and implementing events and presentations that deliver results and training.
*Experience networking with key community stakeholders and ability to proactively manage contacts.
*Experience dealing with public speaking, delivering training and engaging with the public.
*Good career continuity.
*Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and database software.

*Good communication skills and the ability to articulate messages clearly and concisely in an engaging style.
