Account Manager - Aviation - IFE

Up to GBP75,000 + Bonus + Car
I am actively assisting a globally recognised brand who specialise in providing Inflight entertainment solutions into leading airlines amongst other products. My client who is a leader in their niche field is actively seeking an experienced Account Manager -Aviation - IFE who has a proven track record of selling directly into Airlines.
As an account manager the correct candidate will develop new accounts or expand existing accounts within an established geographic territory. You will provide reports to management and customer teams relating to potential opportunities, improvement of products, problem resolution, and corrective action. Develop and maintain excellent working relationship with customers and internal company departments at all levels to ensure effective response to customer needs.
Main Duties and responsibilities for the Account Manager- Aviation - IFE:
* The Account Manager- Aviation - IFE will develop a foundation for long-term business growth by regular personal contact with customer management in support of promoting Panasonic Avionics Corporation products and services.
* Account Manager- Aviation - IFE will identify sales opportunities and manage pursuit and capture process through to award.
* Account Manager- Aviation - IFE will manage assigned customer accounts and assist with other customers as directed.
* Review contractual requirements of assigned customers and ensure fulfilment from the company.
* Plan regional customer service efforts to meet customer satisfaction demands and future business growth.
* Manage customer survey activities and satisfaction scorecards. Track customer satisfaction ratings to objectively measure degree of satisfaction.
* Identify deficiencies in either resources or performance in order to work with account team to resolve and win new business.
* Prepare reports and professional presentations in order to communicate potential opportunities and /or problems to customer teams and senior management.
* Provide reports to management, customer teams, and the customer relating to improvement of products, trends, problem resolution, and corrective action.
* Assist in the management of regional budget and helps the management team establish sales growth, and profit targets for the region.
Qualifications:
My client is ideally looking for candidates with a Technical understanding of IFE. Prior Account Management experience is essential along with strong knowledge of the Aviation industry. Candidates must have excellent negotiation and presentation skills, along with proven experience in managing customer accounts beyond entry-stage. The successful candidate must be able to develop and maintain excellent working relationship with customers and internal company departments in order to smoothly and effectively address customer needs. Excellent verbal, written and administration skills are essential for this position.
