New opportunity not to be missed! Matrix Networks have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team based in Warrington. We are offering a competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be based at the Company Head Office in Warrington and will assist the Commercial Manager in the financial control of won projects.

Assistant Quantity Surveyor duties will include:

- Recognise budget and time constraints of projects and manage contracts accordingly.

- Assist in the placing of orders and contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.

- Assist in the management of subcontractor payments and associated notices.

- Liaise with the project managers for the submission of valuations and recovery of variations.

- Ensuring variations are identified, measure and priced accurately

- Preparation of external valuations and applications.

- Identification of financial performance against budgets and feedback to Commercial Bid Team

You will be required to actively contribute to your team, sharing knowledge and experience, monitoring progress and providing support for others, whilst completing all work to high standards.

You will be customer focussed and be able to prioritise workloads for others, able to work to targets, goals and meeting tight deadlines. You will also have the ability to communicate at all levels effectively, showing initiative, organisations and be a good team player.

Our ideal Assistant Quantity Surveyor will have:

- BSc. Quantity Surveying; RICS accredited degree

- HND Quantity Surveying; RICS accredited qualification.

- 2 years post graduate experience with either a main contractor or a multi utility installer.

- Good people management skills.

- Computer literate – skilled in use of Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Project.
