Sopra Steria Recruitment are now looking for x 2 HR Advisors to join a large organisation in Central Glasgow on fixed term contracts basis.

X 1 HR Advisor - full time - 12 month FTC
X 1 HR Advisor - part time - 3 days per week - 6 moth FTC

Salaries - 28,411 - 33,230 per annum pro rata

HR Advisors are required by a large organisation in Glasgow to develop and deliver generalist HR Solutions to managers and employees which meet business area requirements and are consistent with organisational policies.

The key responsibilities the successful HR Advisors will undertake, include:

" Coaching and supporting managers in applying good practice in all people management areas, including feedback, grievance, capability & performance development, attendance management
" Resolving employee relations cases, ensuring that these are progressed in line with policy and good practice, that correct records are maintained, actions are tracked and appropriate correspondence issued
" Working with HR advisors to ensure employee relations cases are managed consistently
" Supporting employees and their managers, ensuring that employee life cycle policies and practices are understood and followed (eg maternity, paternity, parental leave, flexible working request, job changes)
" Working closely with line managers and HRBP in supporting the identification and recognition of individual and team achievement in line with current and future requirements
" Supporting the implementation of project activities to deliver appropriate HR solutions
" Supporting organisation change activities, including redeployment activities
" Contributing to the development of HR Processes, Policies and Practices to ensure continuous improvements are made
" Educating managers and employees on key people policies, practices and process, to increase management capability, challenging behaviours and approaches which are not in keeping with organisations' values and approaches

To be considered for the position of HR Advisor, you must show:

" Employee relations experience in a progressive HR Department, including providing advice and guidance to line managers/staff.
" Experience of facilitating disciplinary, performance, attendance and grievance hearings.
" Ability to manage complex issues and quickly evaluation a situation, including risk assessment and propose a course of action
" IT literate, ideally with experience in Oracle HR and MS Office.
" Proven track record of co-ordinating and participating in recruitment and selection for different types of roles.
