Chase and Holland are currently working with a well recognised manufacturing based in Nottingham who are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them on a full time, permanent basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone who can demonstrate solid Purchase Ledger experience. In terms of reward you will receive a good salary (GBP16,000 - GBP18,000 dependent upon experience).
Day to day responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
* Produce daily cashflow
* Process high volumes of invoices
* Purchase invoices filing
* Manage batch control spreadsheet
* Post bank transactions
* Bank reconciliations
* Process payments
* Month end purchase ledger reconciliation
* Reconciliation of supplier/bank statements
* Journals & accruals
* Post petty cash and manage petty cash currency
* EC sales and intrastat
* Quarterly VAT returns
* Assist in the finance department as required
The successful candidate will have:
* At least 1 years' experience of the purchase ledger function
* Experience of processing high volumes of invoices
* Intermediate Excel skills including formulas
* A hardworking attitude with the ability to work as part of a team
