I have an opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the site based team for a top tier main contractor delivering a major earthworks package on the high profile Hinkley Point C project in the South West.
As part of an experienced commercial team, The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be given an opportunity to take commercial responsibility of a variety of different packages including major excavation work, construction of retaining walls, new roads & car parks, a sea wall and culverts that will form part of the GBP25bn development once it completes.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll have the chance to enhance your exposure to a wide array of tasks, some of which will include:
- Helping with the training and integration of new team members
- Ensuring cash flow is maximised and payments are received and processed on time
- Preparing monthly cost and value reports
- Physical measurement of works and agreement with contractors and sub-contractors
