We currently have an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team based in Warrington/Manchester.  Managing and motivating yourself you will be responsible for providing a range of quantity surveying services such as estimating, contract compilation, completion of CVR’s, interim valuations, final accounts, cost monitoring and claims for your contracts.

Managing all aspects of the CVR process, you will develop teamwork working with Clients and Sub-Contractors building on trust, honesty and building in support mechanisms to support colleagues in their tasks. Candidates for this position will undertake all pre and post contract quantity surveying duties whilst actively assisting in the delivery of contracts and the recovering of money. Managing effectively all the processing valuation certificates and documentation, you will ensure efficient income recovery coupled with providing forecasts. The successful Quantity Surveyor will prepare final accounts within 3 months of scheme completion whilst assisting Operational Managers and providing financial and contractual advice.

With experience in a similar role, you will hold full membership of RICS, CIOB or hold an equivalent degree. The successful Quantity Surveyor will be able to manage and motivate staff alongside prioritising your workloads and meeting tight deadlines in the face of competing demands and cost constraints. With a thorough knowledge of building construction, schedule of rates, types of contract and quantity surveying procedures you will be a proficient user of IT, and have working knowledge in the financial management of contracts. With a proven record, you will have the ability to demonstrate excellent management skills especially those required for planning, target setting, evaluation and prioritisation.

This position comes with a car as standard.
