LOCATION: Linby, Nottinghamshire
JOB TITLE: Experienced CNC Turning Operators, Setters and Programmers
SALARY & BENEFITS: Excellent salary dependent on skills and experience (Overtime is often available but not compulsory)
WORKING HOURS: Morning Shift - 38 Hours Monday to Friday
Afternoon Shift - 36 Hours Monday to Thursday

They provide reliable, competitive precision engineering with a fast turn around and delivery to a range of customers within the Aerospace, Bearings and Hydraulics industries as well as others.
Due to continued growth they now seek experienced CNC Turning Operators, Setters & Programmers to join their existing team.
Our client offer great long term career opportunities for engineers. Their purpose built factory provides excellent working conditions and is within easy reach of Nottingham, Mansfield and Derby as well as surrounding areas. Car parking is also available and the site is easily accessible by public transport including the tram.
THE ROLE: As a CNC Turning Operator or Setter/Programmer, will depend on your previous experience and knowledge. The successful candidates for the positions will carry out the operating and running or setting and programming of CNC Turning machinery. You will be responsible for running new & repeat work and also to maintain and enhance existing processes.
Key Responsibilities for the Experienced CNC Turning Operators and Setters and Programmers roles in Linby, Nottinghamshire dependent on previous skills/experience will include:
Set new and repeat work
Run new and repeat work
Use measuring equipment to ensure the quality is maintained
Be able to work in metric and Imperial.
Maintain and enhance existing processes
Programme and set machinery
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Experienced CNC Turning Operators, Setters and Programmers posts will need to be experienced in CNC Turning and have experience setting and operating CNC Turning machines. Programming experience would be an advantage.
You must be willing and able to work the mornings and the afternoons shifts, (the role could be either) and must live within or be able to commute to Linby, Nottinghamshire.
Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Experienced CNC Turning Operators, Setters and Programmers role in Linby, Nottinghamshire :-
Must have previous experience with CNC Turning Machinery
Must have attention to detail and be someone who takes pride in their work
Must be reliable and committed
Previous experience in the aerospace industry would be desirable
