An exciting opportunity for an experienced Purchasing Manager
Nicholas Associates Engineering & Manufacturing is exclusively recruiting for a Purchasing Manager. My client is a leading manufacturing business based in Sheffield who supply into the construction Industry sector.
Key responsibilities of the Purchasing Manager role,
* Managing All purchases throughout the business
* Building and maintaining relations with existing suppliers
* Developing new suppliers
* Managing strategic stocks levels throughout the business
* Expediting deliveries
* Working with the engineering team in developing new material supplies and new products
You should have
*Strong Purchasing background in a manufacturing enviornment
*You will have worked as a purchasing manager/assistant in a small production team
* Must have an understanding of steel grades and steel purchasing
* Be used to working in a busy manufacturing production environment and responding to issues in a timely manner
In return for your experience as a Purchasing Manager we can offer you
*Salary of GBP30,000
*Bonus and package
*Ongoing training and development / Modern facility
