We are currently recruiting for a Quality inspector on behalf of precision engineering company based in Abingdon.
Our client is specialised in the design and manufacture of products and solutions for a range of industries including Process, Industrial, Commercial and Oil & Gas currently require the services of an experienced quality technician
You will have a mechanical background ideally apprentice trained or hold a mechanical engineering qualification and have experience programming CNC and CMMs.
This is a varied role not only carrying out CMM inspections but also training operators where shortfalls are discovered, doing 1st off inspections and factory patrols, producing inspection reports, assisting in the calibration of company equipment and translating customer quality requirements including manufacturing instructions.
Candidates who also hold a CMM programmer certificate and ISO9000 auditing qualification although not essential would have a distinct Advantage when applying for this position.
Hourly rate depends on experience and skills.
