Purchase Ledger and Credit Control Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Purchase Ledger & Credit Control Manager to oversee the purchase ledger and credit control team to ensure that debts are recovered as cost effectively as possible and payments to suppliers are made in a timely and efficient way.

Responsibilities:

*Responsible for the direction, motivation and workload of the accounts team as well as delivering objectives set
*Collection of outstanding debt when it becomes due
*Monitoring of overdue balances and targeted collection of these
*Direct debit cash collection process
*Transactional reporting including balance sheet planning
*Cash flow forecasting

Experience:

*Relevant credit control and purchase ledger experience
*Experience in managing a small team
*Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines
*Comfortable with dealing with all levels of management
*Possess an accounting qualification of an ICM
