Financial Accountant
Salary: Dependent on experience
Full Time - 12 Months maternity cover - flexibility on hours considered
Chorley
The Role
The role will report to the HCS Finance Director, based at Matrix Park, Chorley. Responsibilities will include managing a team of 3 finance staff, preparing and reviewing all periodic management reports and financial controls, cash flow and banking, and all other financial returns for the business.
All applicants should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Managerial experience
- Financial and management accounting experience
- Knowledge of accounting systems, preferably Sage, together with advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience of working with non finance managers
- Self-motivation, initiative and drive.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is approaching the final stages of an accounting qualification (e.g CIMA/ACCA).
There may be some flexibility regarding working hours, with the exception of month ends, for the right candidate.
