My client is looking to recruit a CAD/CAM Engineer for their business located in Wiltshire. The company is experiencing a huge period of growth, and due to this they are now looking to recruit a CAD/CAM Engineer to join their existing team.
They are now seeking a motivated and passionate design engineer to work alongside our Chief Engineer. We are looking for someone with drive and passion to join our business as we move from a small operation to a world class manufacturing service centre for premium automobiles. You will have gained your experience by working for a blue chip company, or providing for a blue chip customer.
Responsibilities
* Take part in meetings as a team member and actively share experience, knowledge and solutions with colleagues
* Carry out the duties and responsibilities of the post at all times in compliance with all policies and legislative requirements.
* Measuring, drawing and specifying parts
* Maintenance and production of CAD models and drawings in Solidworks
* Development of CAM models
* Support to CNC Machining team
* Provide technical sales support to customers, dealers and sales team
* Maintenance of technical information in the ERP system
Skills/Experience Required
* Good working knowledge of CAD software (Solidworks or Catia desirable)
* Understanding of CNC machining and CAM software (Hypermill Ideally)
* You will have several years hands on industry experience
* You must be self-motivated
* Able to communicate with both technical and non-technical customers and staff
* Excellent team working skills
