Assistant Project Manager - Education
Are you a talented Assistant Project Manager or Building Surveyor on the look out for a new challenge? This leading global design & contruction consultancy is looking to add to their Project Management team in Exeter, working on high profile education projects!
Service excellence is a key focus for this well regarded firm, so you will be supporting your managers in achieving positive outcomes for clients. You will show high levels of technical capability, with a BSc in Construction Management or similar and having previously worked as an Assistant Project Manager or Building Surveyor, or coming from an engineering or architecture background.
You are proactive with a sound commercial knowledge and have prior experience in assisting the refurbishment, fit out and new build of educational facilities, ideally primary or secondary schools and higher education. You may also have knowledge of working with the Educational Funding Agency (EFA) as a client.

Your Day-to-Day:
- Undertaking day to day delivery of exciting Education projects in and around Exeter and the SouthWest.
- Managing design teams.
- Undertaking contact administration
- Development of project documentation, programmes, master budget etc.
- Monitoring and reporting on the contractors progress against the contract programme.
- Assisting in management of consultant teams to ensure that the contractor's design is compliant with the contract as well as the built product.
