LOCATION:
This permanent position is based near Halifax so candidates living locally in Huddersfield, Brighouse, Halifax, Bradford, Dewsbury, Keighley, Leeds and other local areas will be ideally located.
THE ROLE:
Working for an internationally renowned manufacturer of electrical, mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies and products, as an Electrical Engineer you will play a vital role within the production team.
Using your electrical and mechanical assembly skills you will be producing, testing and inspectingproducts for the rail, oil/gas, power distribution, water and utilities industries.
The working hours for this post are standard days with an early midday finish on a Friday.
Your typical duties will involve testing/inspection, taking information from electrical / mechanical drawings and build panels, pre-wired assemblies, fabricated equipment and LV power distribution equipment. Furthermore you will be involved with devising production processes for new product development and designs.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
Essentially you will have electrical experience in a similar role to that described above and be qualified for electrical test and inspection. You will have the ability to read technical drawings and using this information produce electrical and mechanical products within a small team of technicians.
You will ideally have worked on engineering related manufacturing projects before and be a dedicated technician who can work to deadlines, show good initiative within manufacturing processes and have strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles.
Alongside your electrical knowledge you will also have proven mechanical assembly/fabrication skills.
