My client is a leading importer and sales distributor within the H&S and PPE environment looking to develop its Purchasing team.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and validate a supplier base that delivers a competitive advantage to the business
Ensures sustainable and compliant supply in terms of quality, cost and delivery
Working with suppliers and the development team to bring new products online
Identify and implement cost saving and cash flow improvements
Building relationships with suppliers and with internal members for whom you are buying from via meeting and visits with suppliers
Skills and Qualifications:
?? Experience of buying & expediting
?? Good interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong supplier relationships
?? CIPS qualified (or working towards) would be an advantage
?? Highly analytical and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
?? Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines, and to identify potential risks Advertised through Zoek.
