Our client is currently seeking a strong and experienced Logistics Manager to join their highly established team based at the companys large site in Reading, Berkshire. Applicants will need to possess previous experience within factory / warehouse, facilities, logistics and finance operations management. Responsibilities Planning and executing timely and seamless customer deliveries in the most cost efficient way. Taking into consideration practical, legal, H&s and financial implications. Train, motivate and manage a large team, overseeing installers, drivers and agency staff. Meet individual KPIs designed to uphold and increase the service levels to external and internal customers. Successfully liaise with north UK office to ensure smooth running between sites. Asses the requirements of complex customer projects across varying locations. Planning and scheduling to maintain exceptional service levels across seasonal peak times whilst working under intense pressure and strict timescales. Create and implement processes to speed up efficiencies and manage the fast growth of the company. Stock check and order management.RequirementsStrong, proven Logistics Management experience within a warehouse / factory environment.Sales experience Experience with hand held communications devices, i.e EPOD. Confident / strong willed personality, willing to adapt to and improve current company processes. Previous people management skills essential. Willing to travel and flexibility essential. The successful candidate will be required to carry out two weeks training in the north UK office before being located in at the Reading, Berkshire site.
