This company are a well know multi-disciplined construction consultant who has a strong civil engineering background with vast experience in the design of highways / estate roads and infrastructure using state of the art software to design highways, drainage and site levels.
The majority of the work undertaken on behalf of companies' clients is major infrastructure works including drainage design and flood risk assessments. This company has detailed understanding of the planning process and controlled waters legislation in the UK in order to ensure that their assessments meet the requirements of the relevant authority.
DUTIES:
The company are actively recruiting for an integral role within the business for Civil Design Engineers at various levels that must have practical UK experience. This is an opportunity to work on large residential and commercial developments all over the UK for major housing, and commercial developers on various complex drainage and infrastructure schemes under the guidance of an established team of engineers and technicians and work on projects from conception through to completion.
REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates will need to have some post graduate experience in the design of drainage and infrastructure schemes relating to the design of various commercial building structure developments, will need to be familiar with detailed design of estate roads, drainage, flood risk assessments, earthworks and will be conversant with AutoCAD, PDS, Windes design software. Candidates on a permanent basis would be preferred however client would also consider a contract civil design engineer on a long term basis depending on experience level.
