Electrician (FM)
Location: HMP Bedford, MK40
Pay Rate: GBPNegotiable
SkyBlue are currently recruiting a Maintenance Electrician on behalf for the National Offenders Management Service. This can be a challenging environment, however due to the high demand of work this could be a long term opportunity for the correct candidate.
This will be a static role based onsite at HMP Littlehey. You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to all building services, this will include electrical, basic mechanical and building fabric works as required. For this role it is essential that you meet the following criteria:
*17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
*Time Served
*Excellent Customer Service/Communication Skills
*Have previous experience in electrical/mechanical and fabric maintenance
*Previous experience of critical asset maintenance
*Full UK Driving Licence
Suitable candidates will be in or will have the relevant experience of Electrical maintenance in a commercial environment, along with 17th Edition which is essential for this role.
To be able to work within the HM Prison Service, you must be able to pass the standard security vetting process. If you either hold a current DBS, previous CTC clearance or have worked in that environment before. We are looking to speak to you!
