Physics Trainee Teacher Person Specification: You will need:

***A Sciene degree
***A passion for your subject area
***Eligibility to work in the UK
***GCSEs in English and Maths grades C and above

You must be a passionate Science graduate who has at least received a 2:1 in your degree although other degree classifications will be considered. Experience working in a school, or in an educational setting will be beneficial but not essential. You must possess a patient and upstanding character enabling you to become an important role model for pupils. You will be a graduate who can display a passion for education that will feed your determination for years to come. The perfect candidate will be able to motivate those around them, pupils and colleagues alike and stay positive when faced with in-class disruptions.

About the Physics Trainee Teacher Role

As a Physics Trainee Teacher you will be spending most of your working day within the school's focused Science Department. The experienced Head of Department will be available to help find your feet and you will lead pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. The department has well equipped science labs which has had an evident positive impact on the learning experience of their pupils. You will be teaching within a department favoured by pupils and starting to gain insight through the training and continued professional development scheme.
