Media Technician - Production Links/3SixtyMedia
Manchester
Our Media Technician will deliver a high level of client-focused support and services to productions. Using Production Links/3SixtyMedia facilities, the role will utilise current broadcast equipment in conjunction with emerging IT technologies, while supporting the wider post production department. There will be a focus on operational efficiency and business targets, assisting senior members of the department in their roles, while skilfully and creatively operating a wide range of equipment.
As a major broadcaster that creates some of the best loved and high profile television programming on UK screens, our standards are high and therefore we require people who enjoy the challenge of working in a fast paced and exciting environment, have an eye for detail and love working with the latest technology.
As one of our Media Technicians you will be working across Post Production providing media management, editing, operational support and quality control. You will be using some of the most up to date and technically advanced equipment the industry has to offer. The role will involve strong technical communication and personal skills as you will be managing our projects from ingest to delivery and you will often be called upon to assist the creation of technical workflows to colleagues and clients.
Previous experience of working in a technical role in either a Broadcast or Post Production environment is essential. The understanding of file based media management and workflows would be a distinct advantage, however specific training can be provided.
Due to the nature of our business this role will require you to be part of a team working on a shift basis that will include working outside of standard office hours.
